FAQ — Miles Moor Motors
Answers to the questions we hear most from drivers interested in our vehicles and services.

Do you offer part exchange on my current vehicle?

Yes, we're happy to consider part exchange on most vehicles. Simply bring your car along when you visit, and we'll provide a fair valuation based on its condition, mileage, and market value. Part exchange can be a straightforward way to upgrade without the hassle of selling privately.

Can I view a car outside of your normal opening hours?

We understand that our standard hours don't suit everyone. If you'd like to arrange a viewing outside of normal opening times, just give us a call and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We're here to make the process as convenient as possible.

Can I take a car for a test drive?

Absolutely. We encourage test drives so you can get a proper feel for the car before making a decision. Just let us know which vehicle you're interested in, and we'll arrange a convenient time for you to take it out on the road.

Do you offer delivery or can I collect the car myself?

You're welcome to collect your car from our dealership in North Bristol. If you're further afield, get in touch and we'll discuss delivery options. We want to make the handover as convenient as possible for you.

Who provides your warranty cover?

We work with Momentum Warranties to provide optional warranty cover on selected vehicles. Momentum Warranties are a trusted UK provider offering comprehensive plans with roadside assistance and nationwide coverage. Our team will explain what's available and help you choose the right level of cover for your vehicle.

What does the warranty cover?

Warranty coverage varies depending on the plan and vehicle, but typically includes key mechanical and electrical components such as the engine, gearbox, drivetrain, steering, suspension, and braking systems. We'll explain exactly what's covered for the car you're interested in before you decide.

How long does warranty cover last?

Warranty duration depends on the plan you choose and the vehicle. Options typically range from a few months to several years. We'll talk you through what's available for the specific car you're viewing and help you choose the right level of cover for your needs.

What's not covered by the warranty?

Warranties typically don't cover wear-and-tear items like tyres, brake pads and discs, clutches, or routine maintenance such as servicing, fluids, and bulbs. Trim, consumables, and cosmetic items are also usually excluded. Full terms and exclusions will be explained before you purchase.

What finance options do you offer?

We can discuss various finance solutions to help spread the cost of your vehicle. Options may include hire purchase, personal contract purchase (PCP), and other tailored plans depending on your circumstances. Get in touch with our team to talk through what's available and find a package that suits your budget.

Do I need a deposit for finance?

Deposit requirements can vary depending on the finance plan and your individual circumstances. In many cases, a deposit can help reduce your monthly payments, but we'll work with you to find an arrangement that fits your budget. Contact us to discuss your options.

Will you accept my finance application if I have poor credit?

We understand that not everyone has perfect credit history. While approval depends on individual circumstances and the finance provider's criteria, we'll do our best to explore options that might work for you. Get in touch and we can discuss your situation confidentially.
